The 6

August 17, 2006

Well it looks as if this is going to be my last blog in Australia for a while. I’m leaving at about 6 tomorrow morning and should be landing in Heathrow at 1:20 pm Monday afternoon. Disneyland Hong Kong on Saturday though!

To say I’ve had a great time in Australia would be lying but the last couple of weeks have been gold. That’s the thing about leaving, people tell you how they feel about you and you spend as much time with each other as possible because you don’t know when ou are next going to see each other. I suppose to say I’ve had a terrible time would also be lying, there have been a small amount of people who really meant something to me and I will miss loads.

The first is obviously you Ash. How could I write a list of 6 people on a blog for you and you not being one of them? Even though you ditched me I forgive you ;-) just kidding. It’s a lot easier to say goodbye to you becuase well, you’ve already left! Let’s not lose touch, you’re too good for that.

Completing the 3A’s, Anushka. Sigh life won’t be the same without her walking next to me very lunch and recess. Shes a great person and I wish I didn’t have to leave her.

I suppose Steph and I don’t have much of a history and didn’t spend nearly as much time as each other as you and Anushka but I’ll still miss her. I laughed loads around her but it’s sad because I can see us drifting apart.

Hannah was the person who practically saved my out of school social life from death. It was only until she came to school that I really started hanging out with friends  outside of school, which then gave me the confidence to start asking other people to hang out outside of school. For this i’m extremely thankful.

Jordan’s a good fella. There’s not too much I can say about him without sounding like a homo. I’ll just say taht I will miss him and definately keep in toch with.

Aaron- as above. He was never mean about anyone, something I found really weird but I suppose a good thing.

So these 6 people practically changed my shitty-arse life in Australia to the one I have now. I can look proudly back on the friends I’ve made here and say that I picked a good bunch. I will miss all these people loads and I know I will see most of them again.

I can’t sum up my whole three years living here in one blog but I’ve done a good job summing up the friendship side.

I’ll speak to you when I’m in England Ash,

Andy

Where’s the god damn line?

August 13, 2006

You know how you get those little unimportant events that your are 100% sure are forgotten about by everyone EXCEPT you? They are little events that don’t matter at all in the long run but you annoying little subconcious always keeps reminding you of them and insits on humiliating you everytime you think of it? Well this is probably just me.

I was round my neighbours house for dinner. I think i was in year 5 maybe. We were all sat around the table and we were all a little high on sugar and getting a bit over excited. Sometime during our litle kid screams I said to the eldest son of theirs ‘Have you ever had a sex education?” and proceeded to laugh. No-one else did. The room went deathly quiet and the mum, who was doing the dishes, turned and looked at me as if to say ‘what the hell is wrong with you?’.

Yeah it wasn’t a big deal and I’m willing to bet $100,000 that they have all forgotten it. But why can’t I?!? It wasnt even a big deal! There is a line and I think I may have crossed it or got a bit carried away but how do I now where the god damn line is?

Anyway bringing this whole story into relevance.. I think last night I created another one of those moments that everyone will forget about except me becasue I crossed the line, took it too far, got carried awawy call it what you will. I was staying the night at Jordans house with Aaron. We were watchin telly and Aaron left his phone on the arm rest next to him. Jordan decided to jump on top of him and torture him ( this is usual Jordan behaviour by the way). Whilst he was on him he yells “Quick Andy take a photo on his phone”. I said ‘OK!” grabbed his phone, went round the corner, pulled my cock out and took a photo of, set it as Aarons background and gave it back to him. I accidentally turned it off and Aaron said “waht did you tkae a ohoto of?” I was like uhh I dunno. I was watching his face whilst he was turning it back on and it was so god damn funny! I think I mentally scarred him and Jordan, who wanted to see why Aaron was so disturbed and also looked at it. I also think that these are the only two of my friends to have ever seen my penis (excpet Steph but that doesnt count cos it was when I was pulling my trousers tight so she didnt actually see it)

Stupid me and tkaing it too far.

WHERE THE HELL IS THIS LINE?

The Strokes

August 10, 2006

Yeah it wasn’t akward at all. The concert was pretty cool but they were only on for an hour which is like really short. Me and Anushka had a laff and a half and she went a bit crazy with merchandise. All in all it was a good night.

Awkward?

August 9, 2006

Me, My sister Jen, anushka and Anushka’s brother are going to see The Strokes tonight. I think it’s going to be awkward seeing as anushka has never met my sister, my sister hasn’t met anushka or anushkas brother, i havent met anushkas brother and anushkas brother hasnt met me or my sister! im confused haha. I’m sure it will be fins cos Anushka said her brother is sociable but I’m still not sure…

I’ll write about it either tonight or tommorow

I’m bringing sexy back

August 6, 2006

Justin Timberlakes new song goes “Dirty babe. You see these shackles baby? I’m your slave. I’ll let you whip me if I misbehave”

I think it’s jsut me but I’m curious about the whole bondage lets whip each other business.

Good night lol

Why I hate barber shops…

August 3, 2006

New haircut today. Yeah it looks fine but the actual process of getting it cut is so annoying it makes you want to randomly yell at someone.

It never used to be a big deal because my mum used to cut my hair but the past three years she decided she doesn’t want to anymore and refuses. So I have to go to the barbers. UGH!

Shall I list the problems?

1. Getting There- Yeah not much of a problem but it’s still a pain either walking or being driven their by angry parents forcing you to get your haircut because you look like’ you’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards’.

2. Waiting- Nothing to do. The only form of entertainment is looking at other people get their hair cut but then they give you evils when they catch you staring.

3. The dumb trainees- Not all the time but I somehow end up with the high school dropouts who can’t cut hair to save their lives and I end up walking home looking like someones attacked me with a shaver when I wasn’t looking.

4. The idle ‘Chit-Chat’- OK I’m not here to make friends and I understand you are just tyring to be friendly but can’t you see by the expression on my face I have absolutely no interest in your biker boyfriend who gets into bar fights all the time and ends up being chucked out of pubs at 2:30 in the morning? (TRUE STORY!!) So you at school? Yeah……… (awkward silence)….What year? 11……….(awkward silence)…..What have you got planned for tonight? Nothing yet……….

5. The cold hands- They always have cold hands and massage your head until you feel like a fridge

6. The unnecessary head massage- They don’t need to do it but to get the bits of cut hair of your head they use thier cold hands and brutally attack your head as if it were a hamster escaping from the cage. USE A BRUSH!!!

7. The choices- I just want my haircut but they ask all these questions and I dont even know what they mean! How do you want the back finished? How do you want the top cut? Was that a number 4 on the top as well? I can do a spiky fringe cut if you like?

8. The fee- after all of that they think that it is perfectly reasonable to charge me $22.50!!!!!

Stupid barbers.

PS on the plus side today I got a hot chick rubbing my head and occasionaly her boobs on my back and I could stare at her chest when she was bent over cutting the top of my head ;-)
